Lunsford Air Conditioning & Heating

Had a tech come inspect our ac unit which had quit working. Said the capacitor wasn’t working and needs to be replaced. He replaced the capacitor and added coolant Still wasn’t working so another rep came out and gave us an estimate for a new unit. Before deciding to purchase I always get at least one other estimate. The service tech that came from Avalon heat and air said the wires in the capacitor were installed incorrectly. He changed the wires and now my ac is working properly again. Lunsford charges me $586.44 in order to sell me a unit I did not need. Lunsford tech also stated we had a small leak but he couldn’t find it. Avalon’s tech stated he could not detect any leak When I called The first tech even left his tools here and had to be called to come back and collect them Lunsford the woman first connected me to a voicemail that wasn’t set up. When I called back she said they would have preferred to have been given a chance to fix the issue. I wouldn’t have known

Just got a whole AC unit replaced and I am very happy I chose Lunsford. From my experience this type of thing can be stressful, but everything went smoothly and swiftly on all ends. They sent out a few different people to help us out which I will now tell you about. Ethan did a great job helping me understand what was wrong with the old AC and why it should be replaced and Barry came out the same day shortly after Ethan to help with the process of moving forward with the AC purchase. Prior to the install day, which was the following day, Barry let me know what was going to happen to which everything went as he told me it would. On the install day he sent out two installers (Wade and Miya) who were also great. They were very friendly and answered all my questions and did a great job on the install. I purchased a heat pump from Lunsford. It was a great experiencing working with them. Especially the two installers which were brothers Keleb and Kyler. Great young men with much respect. Did a great job of explaining everything. After the job was finish they cleaned up after themselves. Would highly recommend Lunsford and these two young men. Thank you so much.
