Energy Systems

I reached out to Energy Systems in August of 2021. We had a roof replaced after hurricane Sally by a roofing company, and they decided to stand ontop of my outside AC units instead of using ladders… So they damaged them. They were 15 years old, so I called Energy Systems to come out and give me a quote. The units were still running, but we had to add gas to them monthly as they were leaking. We had Randy quote both a legacy system and a geothermal system. The geothermal unit came out about 10K more than the normal system. But then factor in the tax savings, plus the lower power consumption, it we decided to go with Geothermal. The units run about 6.4 amps on low, and 8.4 amps on high in cool mode. That is including the 1 amp pump draw for the ground loops as well.
