My home is a new build less than four years old. Since day one they have been a joke. My upstairs duct work was not even sealed blowing air into the attic. They didn’t find that until several service calls later charging me each time. Fast forward to this past week when they advised my evaporator coil in my 4 year old home has a leak and they showed up today to fix it. I have paid this company $955.00 in a week to repair their equipment that was faulty. They accept zero accountability that the crew they sent to build these homes did the bare minimum. Don’t even get me started on how it passed inspection. All that to say SAVE your money don’t waste time on a company who I promise you will continue to do the bare minimum. Service: A/C system repair
Northwest Florida AC installed a new HVAC system in our new home as contracted by the builder in our new subdivision with other homes. We moved in June 29, 2019 and the AC was not cooling. It was very hot and trying to get moved in was unbearable. I called the construction company to try and contact someone to help me quickly because the July 4th weekend was upon us. I was told I must call Northwest Florida AC for any service calls. The ink was hardly dry on our closing papers when this happened. Northwest Florida finally responded later that day and fixed the problem, the PS-2 pipe switch. Then in the summer of 2021 the unit stopped cooling again and I had to replace the capacitor in the outside unit. Then one year ago March 22, 2022 the unit stopped cooling again. I Was told we needed a new compressor the original had failed. They said it was still under warranty but the labor, freon, open system and trip charge was not covered. The grand total was $719.50. What a deal! Now our
We bought a new build a little over 2 years ago. Just started having a problem with the house not cooling properly. Called NW FL AC, they initially installed the unit and their number was on the thermostat. They were able to send someone the same day. James arrived ontime, was courteous and professional. He quickly diagnosed the problem and was able to get a replacement part and perform the repair. The part was under warranty, we just had to pay for labor & a small trip charge. Doesn't seem like a newer AC unit should be needing repairs after 2 years, but I think like everything these days, nothing is built to last anymore. I was nervous after reading some of the reviews, but I'm happy to report we were satisfied with the service. Service: A/C system repair
