Before they even started the job, the overall experience was unbelievable. Shawna did an incredible job scheduling the job and providing updates along the way. Robert showed up a day before to walk the job. He mentioned that he and his crew will be back tomorrow morning at 8:00. At 8:01 they were prepping the work. Shapiro & sons were dispatched to my home by my insurance company for an install of a new gas pipe. They are extremely professional and know what they are doing. I was in contact with their office, talked to Shawna, the office coordinator, she is very pleasant, professional, and followed up with me throughout the process. The timing was great, between scoping and commencing the work. They had a crew of 5 men, for the job install. I couldn't have been happier with everything, these men and true professionals and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to plumbing. THANK YOU shapiro & Sons for a job well done. If i can give them 10 stars I would!

Ask any property manager for the name of a good plumber. If you like paying retail for your plumbing needs, Shapiro and Sons is a great outfit. If you like a good value for your money, like we do for our clients, then you must shop around. I gave Shapiro the opportunity to work at my properties many times, at pricing higher than I like to pay, but when they quoted me $475 for a repair that cost our client $158.00 with another plumbing outfit, I draw a line in the sand and will NOT use Shapiro and Son's Plumbing again. Shapiro and Son's Plumbing has too high of a mark-up in my opinion, too high of an hourly rate in my opinion and too high of a profit margin to meet my criteria and be one of my preferred vendors. As a property manager for over 30 years, Id say shop around. However, If you don't mind paying $475.00 for a $158.00 repair, then call Shapiro and Son's Plumbing.
