I would never recommend. We used southeastern roofing company for a new roof installation. We had an ageing roof (15 years old) but it was a solid roof without wind damage, leaks, or visible problems. Our insurance company forced a new installation and we choose to use Lowes who contracted Southeastern for the project. Visually, the drip edge was installed and black roofing caulk was dripping and gooped up on and around the edges. Nails, roofing tar paper, and shingles where all around the house and in the bushes. During the first heavy rain we found our first leak. We contacted Southeastern, the estimator came out and told us the leak was caused by squirrels. They said they would not cover the repair or stain damage. We then contacted Lowes who pressed the issue, southeastern replied with photos of a roof that was not even our roof explaining they were not at fault with false statements as to why. Excellent and helpful office staff. They communicated with me about scheduling and delivery of materials. The crew on site was very polite and did great keeping the property clean during the install and protecting the brand new AC unit. They worked efficiently and did an amazing job on the roof. My husband and I have a rental home south of Tampa that recently began leaking over several rooms. My husband just retired from the military and we live in Germany making things particularly difficult but not with Southeast Roofing. We reached out to them by phone and arranged an inspection to which they found wind damage, then coordinated with our insurance company through approval, and installed a new tile roof. We had a roof removed/installed in another home of ours in Florida 10 years ago and we were concerned to relive the pain of coordinating with the county and inspections but these folks made it super easy for us. We didn’t want to chance it and since we live out of the country, a friend of ours who is a local home inspector in Tampa checked out the work for us. The inspector told us that the work was excellent and we had nothing to worry about. The entire process (remotely from another country) was easy from the beginning to end.
