If you live in St Lucie County and this company rerouted a pipe by ADDING a new pipe to an existing pipe line, YOU NEED A PERMIT. We had 3 city officials confirm this. Yet, I had to get firm with the owner (who then proceeded to use scare tactics on me) and request one. They did the job and the workers were polite and professional (only reason I’m giving two stars), definitely over priced by $1000, but they were the only people available to come out. Won’t use again considering we ended up having more damage inside our house because the soonest they could come back out to fix the pipe was 3 days after a leak was “detected.” Also, when they came out to do the initial leak detection they left not evening knowing which pipe had a leak. (Maybe I don’t understand what a leak detection is but I was under the assumption it would tell you which pipe, maybe I’m wrong.) So we paid almost $400 for someone to tell us we had a leak even though we already knew that.

I recently used Pipe Surgeons for cleaning my homes cast iron pipes and then pipe lining some cracks. I must say I was impressed by the level of professionalism and expertise displayed by the team. The cleaning and lining was completed efficiently and their team took all necessary precautions to keep my home clean and safe. Very good feeling after learning 60+ year old sewer drain pipes could be jet cleaned and restored to like new. A month after cleaning, Pipe Surgeons came back to complete the repairs. Thankfully they were able to bypass tearing up pavers and concrete decking to get to Y fault where kitchen and laundry drains met. It’s a great feeling now knowing we have like new pipes and can use our washer and dishwasher without any more backups and floods.
