My AC on my townhouse broke this past weekend and of course when it started to get 90+ outside. I had one company come out and assess my outside unit and tell me I needed a new compressor and motor or to buy a new unit altogether. After not being ok with that answer i kept calling all local ac companies in my area. All of them wanted to charge a fee to come out and assess or just push me to buy a unit.
