We’ve been using Bay Area for two years. The first time i called, they came right out and replaced a capacitor in our heat pump. About 6 months later, it was winter time and i woke up to the heat pump making a horrible loud noise. I called and explained the problem and, to my surprise, the lady that answered that phone told me that it sounded like the heat pump was in defrost mode and to give it a chance to run through its cycle. Now, she could have sent a technician out right away and charged me for the visit because i was obviously clueless; however, she suggested i call back if the problem didn’t t correct itself. I appreciated the honesty. The most recent call to Bay Area was this past Thursday.. I did all the things i knew to do: Check the drain, turn everything off and back on, replace batteries in the thermostat, etc. Nothing. I called around 2pm and they were at my house before 4pm. The technician, Giovani, found a pin-hole leak in the system so he repaired it and refille

We had previously called another AC company and they told us we would need a new AC unit (our unit is just 10 y/o). We called Bay Area and they came out the next day. They serviced our unit, cleaned the drain line and explained all they did. We were so pleased with the service & response I asked about a service contract which was provided. I felt we were treated fairly & honestly. Jeff was our technician today and he did a great job. Services: A/C system maintenance, Cleaning

I called Bay Area a/c today as my a/c unit stopped cooling. I was advised they would get back to me right away when a svc tech would be available. They not only got back with me right away but Giovanny was at my residence within 2 hours and had the problem resolved right away. Even more remarkably during the entire process I was communicating with the company and Giovanny while currently being out of the country. I will definitely use this company again for all my A/C servicing and repairs.
