I purchased the gold warranty a few years ago. I have not had to call very often with problems but when I do call, Broward is very responsive, I woke up a few days ago and the temperature in my house was 52 degrees. I called Broward and they sent John to my house within 2 hours. John told me I didn't have a heat pump and my house was only heated with a heater that should only be used as a backup. He said all of the wires were rusted but he would try to get it working so I had heat. He was unable to repair it so he had to order a new part. Lori at the office called all of the suppliers trying to get a replacement for me quickly but it was very difficult with the holidays and major winter storm. I purchased a portable heater and John had the new heater installed 2 days later. Thanks to Lori and John, I have a warm house and I am able to have my family over for dinner Christmas eve. Our air conditioner went out last night (Friday). We have the Gold plan which is suppose to be good for 24 hour service so we called and left a message on the emergency extension. No response. We left another this morning after a warm night and little sleep. So far, no response. The voice mail states they're only open Mon-Fri. We will see if they call back today and if not, why not? Is our 'emergency' not their emergency? Withholding judgement until our issue is resolved. Stand by... Update: A tech contacted us about 10:30am and arrived at 2pm to check out the problem. He was able to temporarily repair it to work this weekend while he orders a part replacement. He says he'll be back on Monday. My review just increased from a 2 to a 4. Service: A/C system repair

Had Brower in the past when I lived in Florida. Always had good results. They repaired my refrigerator when it would not dispense water and repaired my gas hot water heater when the thermostat went bad. Best home warranty on appliances and heat/air system out there. Everyone else wants a service fee. Broward, you just pay for the plan and if something goes wrong, they show up and take care of it. Service: Refrigerator repair
