I turned to Bates because they specialize in residential EV charging station solutions and installation. Bates represents they are available 24/7 and that's just what I was looking for as a brand new first time EV owner. Sure enough after the installation I ran into an issue with the software of the charging station. I reached out to Bates and they took all the necessary steps to insure the issue I was dealing with would be resolved quickly. They took the issue I was dealing with seriously and most important took action in a very quick time frame to insure my issue was resolved... and it was before the end of the day. I want to start by saying I have never used hates electric service, However being in the construction industry myself I believe the most important thing in a company and their leadership is the ability to trust them and believe they will always do the right thing. I was involved in a car accident where their vp of operations side swiped my vehicle. no need to get into crazy detail however I was stopped in traffic lane merging onto 275 from the veterans and he was trying to go around in the lane that direction you towards hwy 60, He did not fully appreciate the size of his new 2022 Denali and hit me. At first he did not stop nor slow down until I was able to get caught up to him and lay on my horn and he finally pulled over. Impossible for me to be at fault being that I was stopped in the traffic lane to merge onto 275 to change lanes would to have been to go the wrong direction I needed to go.
