Hurricane Ian caused obvious damage to property, but my roof needed repaired asap. I began researching Roofing contractors that were local to Brandon and Tampa and since I had never had any experience in roofing, I wanted someone with a great reputation. Protek Roofing was the first I seen but they also had the best reviews. I scheduled a free estimate and they told me I had to replace my roof, no repairing was possible due to the amount of damage plus building codes etc. The rep was professional and educated me on the roofing process. They were knowledgeable and offered the best quality product and workmanship available in our area. To me, it was a no brainer. They completed my replacement in a timely manner and kept me informed each step of the process. We hired ProTek to replace our roof that was damaged from hurricane Ian. Pro Tek was the only company to come out to my house and explain everything that they do. The other companies tried to sell me a roof over the phone. Sorry, I can’t see the product over the phone, this is not how you do business. Take a page from Pro Tek, they know how to sell it. Andrew at Pro Tek answered all my questions and they were patient when i was waiting for the insurance company. Their team showed up early and my roof was done in less than one day. This was a complete tear off too. Alan from Pro Tek kept my informed of the progress. Their team protected the area around the house, and picked up all the debris after the job was done. It took them a lot longer to schedule the job, but there were a few holidays in the interim. The price came in right as quoted; no surprises even though I was surprised by the number of roof decking panels necessary to complete the job correctly. They were able to complete all the work in one day. All the workers seemed to be very happy and having as good a time as possible. Highly recommend!!
