I called the office to get a quote for air duct replacement for my home. I asked a few questions about their services, to which the receptionist did not know the answers and was asking the owner in the background and I could hear him responding and relaying the information to me. Their tone of voice and answers sounded like they did not want to come and do a quote but I have to have an official estimate for insurance purposes. I made the appointment 3 weeks out and asked for a phone call before they arrive since they give 2 hour windows. I called during the second week to verify they would be coming out since they seemed hesitant to give an estimate and this is an important part of my insurance claim. They said yes friday bewteen 10-12 . Third week now and it's Thursday at 11:40. The same lady receptionist calls to verify the appt for tomorrow and tells me there is an estimate cost of $149. If there is a fee involved, don't you think that should be the first thing out of your mouth up

Veteran Air came highly recommended by a good friend of mine. A very nice young man Jack came out, did a diagnostic and blew out the pipes $187.00. An hour later, there was still dripping on my hallway floor, & my ceiling wet with the popcorn ceiling dropping on my floor, so I called Veteran Air again. Owner & his wife came out, he told me the bottom was rusted out & said I needed a new unit 3 ton $6715.00- the $187.00 pd earlier=$6528.00. Wife showed no empathy of my situation, just stated the cash price & finance price. Upon doing more research, I found out that homes with way more square footage & larger units were $700.00 cheaper than I was quoted, & that all I need is the pan replaced. Because of that, I'm in the process of more honest quotes. I spent the whole day crying over this as I'm a widow on a very fixed income. My advice to whomever reads this is don't believe everything you're told by the 1st company you choose. Get multiple quotes, do your research, talk to many family

These guys were very professional. After the technician completed the AC maintenance, issues continued to no one’s fault. Walt showed up right away and was able to pinpoint the problem.
