Plumber Mike's

I saw my neighbor doing plumbing work and asked for his plumber's number, we needed to do a sewer hookup because we had a septic tank. When I met with Mike, I was surprised how knowledgeable and courteous he was. He gave me a final quote the same day, there were no hidden fees, and that's what I ended up paying. We have an old house, no plumbing plans existed, but these guys came and quickly found the septic tank just by inspecting the yard and found it under concrete! They did the job in about two days. They also cleaned up the yard, removed rocks, all done with permits, of course. They were extremely professional and it was a pleasure working with them. Untrustworthy and dishonest. They told me my outside tankless water heater couldn’t be repaired and I would get a top-of-the-line replacement with installation for $3,500. Even for that money, they told me the controller unit was an additional option, although the box clearly stated it was included! After much complaining, they miraculously appeared with one the following day. The unit they put in is a “value” low end model that was for sale (retail) at both Home Depot and the manufacturer through Amazon for $618. They were dishonest about the cost and quality of the actual water heater and totally took advantage of me as a trusting customer. Because all the piping was already there and it only took a couple of hours to do the work, I asked for an itemized receipt with a breakdown of the cost. Mike was highly recommended by a neighbor, since he had done the septic to sewer conversion for most of the neighborhood. He & his employees were very personable, prompt, and efficient. They handled the permitting & got everything done within two days. They also ran into some unexpected complications on our property, but honored our original quote (which was significantly lower than other companies we had contacted for estimates). Mike will definitely be the one we call if we have plumbing needs in the future & I give my highest recommendation!
