while i had a positive experience with lance in the past, i can no longer use dickens plumbing as he is now way too expensive. i understand he is so busy he doesn't need new business but he said he still takes care of his existing customers. i needed two new toilets installed which i had purchased. two guys (not lance) showed up to do the job. 4 old shut-off valves were also replaced and an old laundry room sink removed. they were here exactly three hours and charged $750! they provided probably $20 in parts. the rest was labor. i don't know about you, but $243 an hour for labor is more than i can afford and is outrageously excessive. Total rip-off. I think they charged me for my own toilets i bought elsewhere. they owe me $400 which apparently i am not going to get. are there any honest and trustworthy contractors left in the world?
