Frank Gay Services: Plumbing, Drains, HVAC & Electrical in Greater Orlando Area

Today, I had a disappointing experience with this company. While I understand that prices can vary, what I encountered was unacceptable. Last month, I reached out to Frank Gay for a service, and the work was completed satisfactorily. However, when I requested the same service for another property today, the price was twice the original amount. This was surprising, especially considering it wasn't an emergency call this time. During my conversation with the technician, they even tried to negotiate the price, which I believe shouldn't be the case for standard services. It seemed like the technician realized I was a business owner and attempted to take advantage. While they may get the job done, I strongly suggest exploring other providers in the area who offer honest work and reasonable prices. Therefore, I cannot recommend Frank Gay Services. Also, tech did not leave my home the way it was found.

I called for plumbing services and for sure I know if/ when in need will call again. Starting with scheduling fast and very courteous agent gave me some offer options without being pushy. I was able to schedule in a convenient time for me. Cooper let me know ahead of time when he was on his way, He was very respectful, inspected the toilet I had problems with and gave me options to have the problem fixed. He explained the difference in prices. Once i decided on one option he started working right away. Kept me informed of what he was doing and gave very good and practical advice.

Our toilet was constantly running and the repair man did a “partial rebuild” of the toilet and said that would fix the problem…costing $400. Within 1 hour of him leaving the toilet was running. When we lifted the toilet cover this attached picture is what we saw. The metal lift arm is blocking the drain flap and preventing it from closing. When we called and told the plumber the problem he blamed me for not choosing the total rebuild which would have fixed that problem. I am beside myself that a plumber said the repair option he gave us would fix the problem, it did not, and then he blamed for leak still being there. Why pay the $400 at all? Further, that arm is loose and I can’t believe he didn’t check that. A ridiculous and regrettable customer service and quality example. I DO NOT recommend this company. Miserable.
