Well I asked for a price to do a new shower valve and sink shutoff valves and toilet shutoff valve. The walls in the bathroom were already removed for easy access to everything. So shower valve two water pipes plus valve and shower head pipe. Then 2 shutoff valve replacements for the sink and 1 valve at the toilet. They couldn’t give me a ballpark number over the phone but scheduled someone to come out the next morning. So he came as scheduled looked at the job that needed to be done and gave me a price of $2,800.00 with a $500.00 discount to make it $2,300.00. He told me it would take him all day to do the work. I went to Home Depot bought all the material and shower head and valve for $494.00 including tools to do the job as well. Did the work in 2 hours myself with little experience. It was very discouraging that a company would take advantage of people this way.
