Matt from Handy Hawaii called me within minutes of my online query for a quote. He came by the next day and gave me a quote for installation on a new kitchen sink. We scheduled an appointment and he came over and installed our new sink, faucet and garbage disposal. Incredibly professional, impressive work and very personable. Highly recommended. Great work for a great price.

I would start with zero stars if I could. Matt is the consummate snake oil salesman. He talks a huge game but delivers nothing. We overpaid for his services based on his review, only to find out from his subcontractors that he goes back after the fact on past jobs to give “freebies and add-ones” in order to satisfy poor reviews and get his vaunted “perfect 5-star review”. To top it off, he makes his subs pay for the add-one out of their overhead! I should have gone with my gut the first time we met, or when he surprised us with the fact that we would have to do a permit as an owner/builder since he doesn’t actually have a full general contractor’s license. He has to use his dad’s license number, but doesn’t because his own dad charges him 5% to use it. His team destroyed our yard and only cleaned up after repeated requests to fix things. In summary Matthew was very professional contractor and realtor. I couldn't have been more satisfied with my experience with his work on my home and his ability to sell it. From the initial contact phone call all the way to the end of getting the final payment for selling the property Matthew was there 24/7.
