We needed a fourth bedroom and the thought of selling our home and looking for a larger one was overwhelming. So we decided to remodel our basement by adding a bedroom. We called several contractors for bids. One said they weren’t interested, one never showed up, and one did but left us waiting for the bid (which never came). BHR showed up on time and gave us a bid within our budget. Lenny assigned Jon Kendall as our project manager. Jon was awesome! He kept us informed about every step of the project. This project had many parts from foundation excavating, framing, drywall, plumbing, electrical, and flooring. Jon worked with all the other tradesmen to keep the project on track and on time. We could not have been happier with the way the entire remodel turned out. When it’s time to remodel our kitchen BHR will be the first and only place we call. This is the first contractor I’ve worked with who actually used change orders so you know each time your initial quote changed even slightly. I loved the communication and Jon Kendall was great to work with. He took time to make sure he understood our concerns and address them in a way that worked best for us. They did a fantastic job of containing and cleaning up any mess from the work as well. Definitely a great experience!
