Fixing domestic septic lift pumps. Joe was supposed to start at 6 p.m., but cancellations meant he could begin work 6 hours early, so he did. The broken pump was initially suspected, and its replacement was estimated to cost over $2400. The original pump was in perfect working order, but the discharge pipe had become dislodged from the pump fitting, which Joe discovered once he began working on the project.
