Bottom line, Silver Lining made it right. It was a little rocky though. The roof was done in a day, quality work. The siding was another story. The first crew they sent to do the siding seemed like amateurs. The wrap was wrong. No flashing tape was used. There were no square cuts on the entire house and the foreman said he'd just caulk it when i showed him the gaps and overcuts. They put 2 nails through my AC ducting, leaving me without AC for 2 days (in July). I had to tear down my garage shelving to get it fixed. Silver lining paid for the AC, and pulled the first crew. They sent Jason Lawlis of Lawlis Remodeling and he saved the day with very detailed and quality work. He continued to have some communication issues with Silver Lining. When he was done they left the Porta john in my driveway for an extra week. There were some other issues but I decided it was easier to fix it myself than call them back out. We really appreciated Silver Lining going to bat for us on June 2021 hail damage after an initial rejection of our claim by our insurance company's adjuster one year later (in June 2022). Silver Lining's actions resulted in a full approval of our claim in May 2023. However, we felt that there was not enough communication as to the status of our claim from Silver Lining prior to its approval. Also, updates on the status of our roofing color choice with our HOA left something to be desired. And there were times when they said they would be here to do some work and no one showed without explanation. However, the roofing work was done pretty much on schedule and was well done with one exception: Our original gutter shields when reinstalled were not as flat on the gutters after new gutters were installed per the insurance claim. We worked with silver lining on siding repair and gutter replacements. The estimate process was quick and the rep who came out was very nice and fair/ straightforward with us. We did have quite a bit of due diligence to make sure everything was included/ not missing. Otherwise everything went smoothly except one downspout install was missed but they came out quickly to complete.
