Affordable Roofers and Masonry Company

This company will steal your money! After paying the company their deposit, they began work and just patched up brick that was suppose to be replaced. They breached contract, and asked for thousand of dollars more on the initial quote. I called the company many times and they are not responsive. They did not refund my deposit back and I'm going after them legally. No company should take advantage of people. Everyone works hard for their money. Stay away from this company!— UPDATE: ————- The company replies back to my review to have never received a deposit from us, but John Tan, President of the company has been in contact with our attorneys trying to settle the case. Great Service!! Yesterday, when the snow was melting on our roof, the ceiling in our laundry room started leaking in several places!! It was getting dangerously close to the furnace so I needed help fast! I called John the owner and I am sure he could tell by my voice that we really needed his help! He was very nice and calming. He said he was finishing a job and they would be by us in about two hours. He was right on time!! He and another roofer got busy right away and in less than an hour the leaks stopped! Phew! I was worried about how much this would cost but John told me the pricing as soon as he looked over the roof situation and when he says "they are affordable" he means it! He also took before and after pics so we could see what was done. They put a seal around the chimney, vents and open seams they saw on the roof. He will come back as soon as weather permits to replace some bricks and tuckpoint the chimney. I wish they did more than roofs & masonry because I would not

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. I would give less stars if possible. John Tan (owner / proprietor) presents himself as a trustworthy, old school Chicago guy with immense experience in roofing. Unfortunately, I was sold a bill of goods on his services. He was hired to replace and silicone coat the membrane of our flat roof on the main area as well as replace / repair the membrane of the dog house. Everything seemed on the up and up and work on the main part of the roof was completed. Unfortunately, I did not take enough time and effort to inspect all of the work as the dog house is 10 ft above the normal roof, and is not at all easily accessible (simply looking up there using an 8ft ladder is dangerous). He had not done ANY work on the dog house (this is the roof area that is above the stairs which go to the roof). I had been given a written guarantee for all roof work for 7 years, spelled out in the signed contract, for all of the roof work, as well as yearly inspections from his comp
