This past summer it was triple digit temperatures and the air was thick with humidity. Our A/C went out and we couldn’t fix it ourselves. After calling several companies with wait times scheduling several weeks out—for just an estimate—I was referred by a family friend to Epic Heating and Air. They too had a packed schedule but still made the time to squeeze us in for an estimate. They were extremely knowledgeable, professional, and efficient. I scheduled an install for a new system and asked them to just fit us in their schedule as soon as they could. I was elated to get a phone call from them a couple days later saying they had finished a job earlier than expected and could install the new system right away! They went above and beyond throughout the entire process—from estimate and financing to installation and follow-up. They didn’t try to oversell me on more than I needed. A friend told me about Epic and got me in touch with them. The day after I talked to them they were out to look at my unit, gave me their opinion, and sent me a couple options that night. I made my decision and told them what I wanted on a Friday and they scheduled me Monday to get it replaced. The installation went very quickly and the installer did a great job telling me all about the unit. He was in and out in less than 3 hours. They ruined my AC and added an extra capacitor when my capacitor was never even out. A week later I had to buy a new air conditioner unit. And charge me 200+ to put the very small capacitor that was not needed. And it was ruined because the new AC guy told me that. He showed me the original capacitor that is still on my unit was nothing wrong with. You guys added the small one which fried it. And it wasn't bad luck it was bad business.
