I work for a small buisness that's Been a fixture in wichita for 30 years at least. We have rented an ice machine from farhas for 24 years. the ice is very important for our buisness to have in order to maintain the great taste of beer on ice. Farhas rented the machine but has not maintained it or cleaned it since we have had it. Now it no longer is making ice, since last wed. We called, left messages with no reply until Sunday 4 days after we contacted them. Only to tell us they needed a part and would be back the following day, monday. Still have not seen or heard from farhas as of 10 pm Monday. After so many years of rental I'd thank they would want to take care of us but no. Therefor I'm rating them a minus - 5 star. We are looking for a better company that will appreciate our buisness.
Farha's Refrigeration is the BOMB. I bought my house in December and moved in the weekend before Christmas with 2 young children. Sorry to find out - after moving all our things in and picking up the children to arrive at their new home - that the furnace was not working. Ned came out on a Sunday night and didn't charge me any extra. They are amazing. And honest. Would like to give them 10 Stars!!!
Extremely disappointed in the service experience I had with Farha yesterday. After reading these positive reviews, I agreed to let my home warranty company dispatch them to inspect my AC unit for a problem I was having. The tech they sent seemed friendly enough at first, but spent only a few minutes with the outside unit, came back to tell me my "freon was low" and that he had to call it in to the warranty company before discussing service options and he'd be back shortly. After calling it in, he came to collect my service fee, and I assumed was going back to the phone but just got in the van and left instead. The warranty company called to tell me his diagnosis (which was not "low freon") and that the fix was a $1200 job, but the problem I had with the whole experience was three fold. 1) He did not show or explain anything to me while he was actually on the property. Showed up, took my money, and left a layperson to try to talk to me about it over the phone who was unable to answer my
