Their process for getting a plumber to you was very efficient, I called and explained what I needed, and the lady said she could get someone out to me on Monday between 3 and 5. On Monday at 3, she called me back and said the plumber was running late and would have to reschedule for the next day. The next day, he shows up, walks around, looks at my appliance, and tells my husband it will be 4 to 5 hours worth of work and estimates the job at $983. Later that evening, I got a written esti.ate that simply states the process of execution with a line item of 1 and a total of $983. I called to ask for a breakdown as that seemed high to me. The receptionist, who again was very pleasant, said she didn't know but would have the plumber contact me to explain. When he called, he explained that they estimate by job, not by the hour, so if it took 2 hours or 12, that was the price. He admitted they were higher than most but insisted they were thorough.
