I had Greater Comfort Heating and Air out to do scheduled maintenance and was told I needed to replace the reversing valve on the unit. They informed me the cost of the repair would be about 1/3 the cost of replacing the system. They suggested that I replace the system due to the age and they sent over quotes the next day. I decided to get a second opinion and thankfully I did, nothing was wrong with the system. It has been about a year since they were here, and the system still functions great. I would never let them in my home again and would not recommend them to anyone, thankfully I got a second opinion and did not get ripped off. My AC went out. I spoke with Angel for scheduling a service call. She was pleasant, provided clear communication, and answered all my preliminary questions. The technician who arrived (on time), was Zack. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and fixed the necessary issues. I appreciated his patience with all my questions - just seemed like a genuine guy with honest recommendations. It's a small sample size/representation of this company's work, but they'll be who I call moving forward.
Had them out yesterday for a non working mini split unit by Mitsubishi.The technician was there for three hours and on the phone with technical support most of the time. FInally got unit running and left and eight hours later it quit working again. I was charged three hundred and sixty dollars. When I called back this morning to say unit was not working was told I would have to pay 90 dollars an hour more to get them to come back . Needless to say I will not be a customer again. Before all this in April I Paid over 500 dollars for their comfort plan. All I got for this was a spring and fall pms done. Which didn 't do me alot of good on the coldest day of the year.They do not back their work.
