Update Sept 2023: Rich McDermott agreed to a partial reimbursed but has never made the payment and months have now passed. Twice he said "the check in the in the mail" and another time he said it would be dropped off at my home. This is not a person or a firm that anyone should choose to work with if quality and integrity matter to you. Original Review: I only share my review so this doesn't happen to anyone else. My experience with Urban Mechanical and Rich McDermott was terrible. He installed two AC units in my home - neither work and his telephone lines have been disconnected. I not only think he can't run a business, but I fear he has a pattern of ripping off people then shutting down his operations -- and probably opening up under another name to steal from more people. I learned he even stole from his own employees. He might also operate under the name Climatech Services and 26 McDonald Street LLC. I was able to schedule a service online, which was easy and convenient.
