Paul Lynch from Associate Roofing was referred to me by a friend about a year ago. I had contracted a roofing company to install a new slate roof on my large Victorian house in Brookline. New copper gutters were to be installed and three dormers needed to be re-shingled with red cedar shingles. In addition, three chimneys and the brick foundation had to be repointed. The contractor turned out to be very dishonest with poor workmanship. I hired Paul to inspect the work during the entire process. His expertise in roofing, carpentry and masonry work was remarkable. He is very knowledgeable regarding slate roof installation, carpentry and masonry. He gave me many detailed written reports about poor workmanship, inferior materials and deceptive practices, where the contractor did not complete the work in accordance with the contract. Paul was invaluable in keeping the contractor honest and getting the work done properly. My biggest regret was that Associate Roofing didn’t do the entire job.

They have excellent customer service, providing prompt and detailed written estimates and communications, answered all our questions, and issues were handled professionally and to our satisfaction. Paul from Associate Roofing came out to diagnosis the source of the leak in our sunroom. Manny did a terrific job fixing the leak by putting down some water shield - something that should have been done by another roofing company years ago - and adding some new shingles.
