My electric bill during the winter months was sometimes over $1000/mo. so I decided it was time to call up Atlas. They came recommended by a trusted contractor and it was clear from the beginning that I made the right choice. My energy auditor, Nolan, was awesome! He was easily accessible - whether via email or phone - and was always happy to answer my questions, no matter how ridiculous. Atlas did all of the insulation work in my attic space and installed mechanical switches to improve air flow. Since the work, my electric bill has dropped by almost 50%(!!!) and my hvac unit is no longer running 23 hours a day. The results were so good, I even recommended Atlas to my parents!! Our house was poorly insulated and leaking air... to the point that our energy usage was significantly more than neighborhood comparisons (2 times and sometimes 3 times higher, per month). We contracted Atlas to improve our energy efficiency and save on energy bills, mainly via insulation install and air sealing work, and Jeff Shackelford was the lead on our project. Happy to share that we had a great experience! -- Jeff and team were 1) prompt, 2) communicative, 3) professional, 4) efficient. -- The team took roughly 4 days to finish the work in mid-late March 2022. The crew did a great job with air sealing and insulating 1st and 2nd floor attics! Also air sealed rim joist in basement. Solid work, crew was professional and careful with my belongings. Thank you to Zuala, Johnny, and Lal! Highly recommend!
