Sometimes a company actually lives up to its name, and that is exactly the case with Champion Plumbing & Drains. I happen to do the property management for a townhouse in Oxon Hill, and on one fateful Friday night I get the dreaded call. "The water heater has burst and the basement is flooding." The tenant was understandably upset and my client the landlord wanted everything resolved immediately. All I can say is thank God for Champion Plumbing & Drains. They came out on Saturday when many other plumbers did not want to show up Bottom line is that the situation got taken care off in a very timely manner. This was the third time i have used them and each time the results have been excellent. Gus really knows his stuff and his crew is on point. I'd highly recommend them if you have any Plumbing issues. I called Gus at 11:15am and provided some information about our emergency issue, and Jason and Chris arrived around 11:35am -- the issue was resolved for the price quoted on the phone and they replaced a leaky spigot while they were at it. Everything was cleaned up and they were gone at 1:15pm. Super fast and couldn't have been a better experience overall.
Unbeknownst to us, we had a kitchen faucet leak like a sieve. Our lazy Saturday turned into a mess. We called a few plumbers and Gus was the first to reply by far. He gave options (emergency repair now or a very convenient scheduled time on Monday). We went with emergency now because my main shutoff is very inconveniently located in my crawlspace. Gus showed up, as promised, and was done in 2 hours. In that time, he replaced the faucet (we got our own at Home Depot before he came), removed an old disposal, capped the electric and fitted the dishwasher with a new drainage connection. He had all the parts he needed and nothing felt cobbled together like I've experienced with other emergency repairs. I wish I had a before picture because it was a mess! Loose wires, bad old plumbing, nasty disposal. It looks so sharp now. We're still drying it out from the sopping mess that was there before he came. Oh.. and he took care of ALL the garbage.
