I found Ben via a Google search, desperate to find a handyman willing to help us remove an old dishwasher that was stuck due to the previous owners redoing the flooring with ceramic tile that blocked the dishwasher. I called several places who were unwilling to try it. When I called Ben he was upbeat, positive and willing to see what he could do. He arrived on time, assessed the problem and began to work. He encountered many challenges with the removal, but remained positive, telling me, "We are going to be OK". Through a series of clever maneuvers he managed to get the dang thing out and with a smile on his face! We will be using Ben again for any interior repairs or needs we have in the future. Ben was wonderful to work with. He was very responsive, open to the owners preference while also providing valuable insight to what choices might look like and whether they might be worth addressing right now or waiting (as some materials /fixtures are scarce and expensive at this time). Ben gave us a very fair written estimate for the work on our basement refinishing project, and there were no surprises that he later uncovered or charged us for. He brought one person to work with him most days to work on the drywall repairs from flooding and replacing a drop ceiling with drywall and overhead lighting (he also brought in electricians for the wiring to the lights). He did a nice job trying to Minimize the number of boxes required in the ceiling to give the room the best look. We did make a few changes to the original plan, and Ben worked right with us, letting us know the cost of any additional work up front before deciding to proceed.
