Save yourself headache and trouble and choose Chevez HVAC for prompt, reasonably-priced and honest work. Our heat went out and we had a hunch it was the blower motor needing replacement. We started off with another large local company, FH Furr, who confirmed that was the issue, but clearly had no intention to repair that same day like we asked, as they then tried to claim the whole HVAC system was problematic and needed replacing. A blatant upsell and use of scare tactics, probably to get a holiday commission bonus. We did not appreciate the dishonesty and lack of consideration that we had been several days without heat in winter- imagine how much longer if we went with their suggested and unnecessary full replacement! Not to mention out of several thousand dollars for no reason. I’m sure they do it all the time to poor families who aren’t familiar with HVAC basics which is just greedy. The quoted price for the requested repair was also outrageous given the cost of the replacement moto

My husband and I highly recommend Chevez HVAC! We lost air conditioning in middle of heat wave 98F in College Park MD. Chevez HVAC came out, diagnosed the problem and replaced the motor on our 35 year old Lennox AC heat pump. Elizabeth is wonderful, reliable, accurate and very professional! Elizabeth explained that the repairman had several customers ahead of us but that he would contact us that same day, which he did. Julian, the repair man, is knowledgeable, skilled, very quick and very polite. I cannot imagine using anyone except Chevez HVAC in the future.
