We have been Atlantic fuel and service customers for almost four years and have always had a great experience with the quality of their work and their people! They were the only ones willing to help when our furnace stopped working on a cold December morning and earned our loyalty that day. More recently, we bought a new home and Atlantic replaced the old, inefficient boiler with a new Buderus model - they arrived on time with plenty of help, worked quickly and efficiently, gave us a great tutorial on our new system, and left our basement cleaner than they found it. We highly recommend them!

I was a loyal customer for over a decade. They charged me hundreds of dollars to diagnose and install a cheap $16.99 thermostat that took less than a half hour to install (during normal business hours). The tech was here for one hour, maximum. I would have done it myself if I had known I was going to get so overcharged but I trusted them. By the time I got handed the bill it was too late to question anything. I paid and thanked the tech. Live and learn. BUT, to add insult to injury, it turned out the thermostat wasn’t even the problem and I lost my heat again days later. The second tech to come over discovered the real problem immediately which the first tech had missed and said it would be ~$450 to fix. I asked if I’d get any leeway considering they just misdiagnosed and charged me so much for a thermostat that I didn’t even need and he told me they wouldn’t budge. Mistakes happen. The folks at Atlantic Heating have always been nice and friendly. A few weeks ago I forgot to put out payment when I had ordered and oil and they didn’t deliver it. I didn’t notice that it hadn’t been delivered until the tank was almost empty. When I called again, they came right out that morning and filled up the tank so that I didn’t have to run out of it and pay extra fees to deal with that. I was really grateful to them for responding so quickly.
