Shane - the tech who came out - did a fine job. He was polite and seemed knowledgeable. That is the main reason why Cregger gets 3 stars. When I first reached out to Cregger, I was very clear on what I needed: a company with a scope that could assess where my pipe vent was cracked. I was told that I’d be scheduled with a plumber who goes up on roofs (because some of Cregger’s techs don’t go up on roofs). I was surprised when I took Shane to the vent and said that he doesn’t go on roofs without another tech present. I was ready to end the meeting there, but because we spotted him and provided him with a ladder; he went up (again, thank you Shane). The scope was not able to move far down the pipe as the pipe narrowed from 3 inches to 1.5. Kate, the scheduler, said there would be a charge of $125 and that the $125 would be applied to the fee of any future service they do after the assessment. I have used Cregger Plumbing for years now and have always received professional service and quality work for reasonable cost. Most recently, I had a leaky shower diverter fixed by Danny W. He offered the various options and his honest assessment of all of them. In the end he was fortunately able to locate replacement parts to fix the faucet at the lowest cost of all that were quoted.
