We had a FANTASTIC experience with the Jacobson team and would highly recommend them. We had called one of their competitors first (the big name in town) who came out to troubleshoot why our AC wasn’t cooling. After doing about $500 of work that failed to solve the problem, the tech suggested a more expensive fix and gave the alternative of replacing the unit altogether. He quoted what seemed like a high price for a replacement unit so we decided to call Jacobson to get another quote. Wish we’d called them first! Tom quoted the same size unit over the phone and it was SIGNIFICANTLY lower than the original quote from the other company. When he came out to check things out the next day and get things rolling, he told us that the other company was trying to sell us a unit entirely too big for our house so it ended up being even less. The technicians (Mark, Carl, & Ben) arrived on time and had the new unit up and running in no time. They left things clean, and explained the follow-up care

A competitor told me that I had to replace my furnace and was given a quote that was extremely high and backed with high pressure sales tactics. I called Jacobson for a second opinion and they were able to test and prove that there was no issue with my current furnace at all and no need to replace it or the AC unit. Rich was great to work with, he walked me through the steps of everything he was doing, explained the point of each test and then even provided me some guidance on troubleshooting and replacing a broken humidifier I have.
