We had a backed up pipe that was causing our basement drain to not drain. Sean / Shawn was amazing! Was able to make it out next day, working around my schedule. He texted me to communicate , which was super convenient as I run a local store & am often unable to get to the phone. He was SO nice, and put so much effort into trying to make everything work. We even got to just chat after the work, and he is just an honest, amazingly nice, very approachable guy. We thought he wasn't able to get the drain cleared, so he referred us to someone he trusted to have the line jetted. By the time they got there 3 hours later, the drain was clear & we could not re-create the issue. The company he referred said it's common to have latent resolution like that, and I am just so grateful that Sean (or Shawn, unsure of spelling) took the time & effort to snake each one of our pipes, even multiple attempts. Shawn has been my go to plumber for years, and has been a life saver on more than one occassion. We had him out for basic issues (dishwasher installation, bathroom drain issues and installing shut-off valves) to catastrophic plumbing issues (frozen cracked pipes with a flooding basement!). I found Family Rooter through a Google search looking for a West Lansing Plumber. The company looked to be a very highly rated, small local company and now I know why. If you are looking for a quick and honest plumber, Shawn is your guy!! Both times I called him, he was at my house to fix my issue the SAME DAY. He provides great service at a very reasonable price and I cannot say enough about impressed I am with his response time, ethics and expertise. He's my new plumber from now on!
