Used them because they had originally installed the generator that came with the house we bought. Even though the first experience was pricier than I thought for just a routine yearly maintenance on the generator it was good. Ended up hiring them to run power to our new barn. In the meantime the generator they had just checked quit working and it took them two months to fix it. The barn wiring took several months longer than quoted, we didn’t get the 400 amp service that was quoted, and the final bill was several thousand dollars more than the quote for more service. Joe from HD Hayes is Fantastic! He did an excellent job installing additional outdoor lighting on my garage. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and very professional. I had to upgrade several panels and upgrade the transfer switch for my generator. Pat was great to work with but he was nothing compared to his crew James and Russ. These 2 were very hard working and very professional. What we all thought would be a 2 day job turned into a long one day job. James and Russ are a great team. There isn't enough that can be said about these 2 guys. They are hard working and take the time to teach the 3 additional guys that they had with them. I gotta say that the future of the industry is in great hands with these 2. Pat keep doing what you are doing. You have the best crew in the Lansing area by far.
