Matt and his team did a bathroom Reno for us in 2017. I chose him because he was very easy to communicate with and used high quality materials (schluter system) to waterproof. We had an issue with the grout in the shower crumbling out. We made Matt aware of the issue shortly after the Reno and he told us if it continued to be an issue he would take care of it. Fast forward 6 years and the grout was really bad- crumbling out like wet sand. Matt was true to his word and fixed the grout for us. In construction, things go wrong. I appreciate that Matt is an honest contractor who followed up when there was an issue. The bathroom looks great.

Greg, the owner, did a great job coordinating the rebuild of my dad’s home that burnt down February, 2020 in Burton. It only took longer than expected due to the state shutdown! The house is all brand new and passed all inspections first time around. Dad got his Certificate of Occupancy on Veterans Day! Many thanks to Motor City Builders!

Matt, Ashley, and the MCB team did a fantastic job converting our 1980's master suite into a handicap accessible roll-in shower with sink, countertop, and updated bedroom. Their attention to detail included a soft-close toilet seat, brushed nickle hardware, and help with mildew resistant paint and tile selection. The painter did an excellent job matching the stain on the widened doorways and trim work. 90% of the project, which included removal of a huge garden tub, was completed within three weeks. We were very impressed with the professionalism of the staff and the exceptional workmanship from the carpenters and plumbers, to the tile installers and electricians.
