Wrote up an agreement with D S Bahr on 11/5/20 and told we could plan on April or May, pretty big window. On May 12th I called to see where we were at as we had heard nothing from Dave. Dave said he was sending it for scheduling and we should here in a week or two. After 3 weeks had gone by with no call, we called on June 1st. Dave called back and said we should hear in a week or two. At this point I told Dave we had no confidence in his word and would be cancelling. Dave's response.....PERFECT! and hung up; Consequently, because of this poor service we likely will not be enjoying a deck this summer season.

We contacted Dave Bahr 2022 summer for an estimate for our roof. It was a challenging time to get a roof work done. All of the roofers were quite busy due to recent storm damage - we even had 2 roofers no-show on estimates. Dave, though, was the consummate professional. He came out for the estimate at the time that he said he would, and provided the bid that same day. His knowledge about exterior work showed clearly in his honest assessments and advice about what needs to be done. Dave also provided accurate forecasts of his lead time and job time, and answered all of our questions thoroughly. And, when shortly after we had a leak above a window and called him wondering about the roof, he immediately offered advice over the phone, and also said he could come out again just to diagnose if it was the window or the roof. The crew installed a deck on my home. Initially there wasn't one there so this maybe went quicker than usual. But I was amazed when I went from no deck to a beautiful cedar deck in just two days. Now normally I'd be suspect when it happens that fast, but let me be the first to say they did wonderful work. I have an eye for detail and they cut no corners that I could see. My wife and I now love this new space and makes grilling and entertaining so much nicer. I've even had people stop and ask "who did the work"? I cannot say enough good things and I would not hesitate to call on them again for my next major project.
