I am unable to fully express how happy both my wife and I are with the quality of workmanship performed and excellent customer service we received from Apple Exteriors! Having dealt with roofing companies "storm chasers" in the past, it was great dealing with a local company willing to work with us during each step of the process. There were three different contractors that work on the roof, facia and gutters and we were equally impressed by each on the quality and timeliness of their work! Apple Exteriors will quickly pressure you to sign their contract as the verbiage locks you in to a cancelation fee if you become dissatisfied with their quoting progress or don't want to proceed with further work such as a second phase of a project. Here is my experience with Apple Exteriors: - They will try to force a cancelation fee on you if you become dissatisfied with their work even if they haven't ordered materials or done any labor. -They filed an invalid lien on my home to try to get me to pay the cancelation fee. -They tried to charge me a fee for the invalid lien. -They misrepresented the dates when they filed the lien with the county. -Their contract called out an illegal interest rate that violated Minnesota usury law. -They will try to use that high interest rate along with the lien as leverage to get you to pay the cancelation fee. -They will copy their construction law attorney on communications as a scare tactic to get you to pay the cancelation fee.
