Apple Exteriors will quickly pressure you to sign their contract as the verbiage locks you in to a cancelation fee if you become dissatisfied with their quoting progress or don't want to proceed with further work such as a second phase of a project. Here is my experience with Apple Exteriors: - They will try to force a cancelation fee on you if you become dissatisfied with their work even if they haven't ordered materials or done any labor. -They filed an invalid lien on my home to try to get me to pay the cancelation fee. -They tried to charge me a fee for the invalid lien. -They misrepresented the dates when they filed the lien with the county. -Their contract called out an illegal interest rate that violated Minnesota usury law. -They will try to use that high interest rate along with the lien as leverage to get you to pay the cancelation fee. -They will copy their construction law attorney on communications as a scare tactic to get you to pay the cancelation fee.
