United Heating Cooling and Plumbing

DO NOT USE!! We have been loyal customers for years and United even installed our new AC unit four years ago. However…. Our AC unit stopped working last Saturday. We had a tech come out Saturday and another on Tuesday and they both said different things. They filled the coolant Tuesday but it would only last 48 hours at the most. They said a part had to be ordered. I called every day to check that the part was ordered. Yesterday when the air went out again I called at 2:00 and they would not send someone out again until today. I left a message for Joey, the service manager. No return call. We left our house because it was too hot. A tech showed up at our house this morning when we were at a family’s house with air conditioning without a prior call. my husband tried to call Joey again, no return call. They told me yesterday when I asked that the part would not be in until Aug 1 and we were offered no other help or suggestions on what to do in the meantime. What has happened

I had to fight tooth and nail to get anyone from the sales team to get back to me. While my warranty company was definitely an inconvenient hold up, I had to follow up 3-4 times over several days for an updated estimate and it took almost a month to get a new AC. They found a furnace issue while installing my AC and I have been waiting to hear back from them since August after emailing and calling several times.

I’ve used United for ductwork install, chimney liner replacement, repair of AC and most recently installation of a complete AC and furnace replacement. The technicians they use are professional and the services are reasonably priced. The two guys who did the AC and furnace install worked in 100 degree heat to get the job done. No complaints.
