I hired this guy (Daniel Gittens) for a full rewire of a house that I was working on. Initially things went well but when it came down to it he finished 90% of the work and left me hanging on the remaining 10%. To make matters worse things were wrapping up right as winter was approaching and I needed that remaining 10% of work done to connect power for the furnace to the new meter so that the pipes don't freeze. I had mentioned that this was going to be a major issue if not coordinated properly and he took note of it, or so I thought... The time came to switch the meter and I called him to which he notified me he was in Florida for the next 6 weeks! Okay, I also run my own business, I get it, time off can be hard. But this guy proceeded to not only fail to notify me he would be gone for 6 weeks while having an open job but he flat out refused to sub out someone else to finish his work and left me having to pay an emergency electrician on a single day's notice to finish the job.
