There are probably 100 HVAC companies in our region. Miller was recommended to us years ago. Since then, they've come to our home to inspect and do light maintenance on our system a couple of times a year. Last month, during the annual summer check, our heat pump was very low on refrigerant. The service tech topped it off, and recommended a leak test at some point to determine why it had lost so much gas. Leak test day came, and the coil located in our crawl space was leaking, and couldn't be repaired. When I got their price for replacing it, I also asked about replacing the heat pump, too. Both items were about 12 years old. We negotiated a price; I was told they'd be here the next day. They actually arrived when they said they would. Their technician, Adam, spent a half a day replacing the coil and heat pump, but a serious equipment issue arose.
