Horne HVAC

I cannot say more wonderful things about Horne. I have used them for 15 years or more. The do great work and I have the piece of mind that my units are always running properly with the maintenance plan. Recently, I had an unusual issue with a new mini split. Our 12 year old RHEEM HVAC system stopped working after back to back power outages on 8/27/2023 .Andrew Long was the first diagnostic technician from Horne. He was very professional and his findings concurred with two other specialists - compressor failure. He took his time to explain our options and expedited scheduling us with a replacement professional in about an hour:). We did three estimates to replace and/or repair the system but decided on replacement. Mr Hugh Cameron was the Horne's Replacement Professional(8/29). He was very professional and thorough. Diagnostically he examined our home to see if any improvement could be achieved with a different system.His measurements showed that we needed a 3.5 ton unit and different type of filters. He even checked our attic insulation! He sat down and discussed all his findings and his recommendations and sent an emailed estimate within hours. Highly Recommend Horne HVAC: I had a small storage closet which was getting too warm and humid. The closet has an exterior wall and attic space above with no HVAC vent. Even though it was a small project, Jon Horne came out and recommended a great solution to (1) better insulate the closet with a foam moisture barrier and (2) create a return air flow with an in line always-on fan and ceiling vent in the closet. It was a creative solution that will constantly have the conditioned house air pulled into the closet and back into the system. It was the perfect engineered solution and at a very reasonable price. What made it even better was the professionalism and skill of both Nick and Wriston who installed everything; foam insulation, new duct work, fan, electrical wiring, etc. They put down floor protection, wore shoe coverings, vacuumed the floor afterwards, etc. which showed how much they cared about their customers beyond just the HVAC work.
