I gave two stars because I liked Lee personally. However, not a good business experience with craftsmen direct. Everything started out great. We made an appointment. He showed up on time. He listened and took pictures of our job requests. Then ... nothing. I had to chase him for estimates twice. Then I get the line item estimates. Some were good, some not competitive. I send a note back with my feedback, want to go with two out of four items. Then ... nothing again. More chasing. Finally he sends a note: “maybe it’s best if I drop out of this”. I am fired as a customer I guess. Waste of two weeks and I was back at square one. Not a positive experience.

We are very happy with our experience with Craftsman Direct. Lee and Rick replaced our front door and fixed rotting wood around the door and under the hardwood floors. They replaced the hardwood in the area and worked really hard to match it to the existing floor. It looks great! They also did some smaller jobs for us like fixing a loose railing, hanging and leveling a new chandelier, caulking, pressure washing, etc. We couldn't be happier with the results. Lee worked with us along the way and helped problem solve to make the most cost effective decisions. We highly recommend Craftsman Direct and will definitely use their services again when we need work done.

We hired Lee and Rick to replace our rotting deck repair our fence. They were very honest about what did and didn't need to be done, which ended up saving us money over all. Lee always checked in with us when they encountered an obstacle so that we could all be in agreement as to how to proceed. They came in, got right to work and completed everything in a timely manner. In the end, the job site was left clean and we were very pleased with the quality of work that was done. Our remodeled deck ended up being more sturdy than the original. Lee and Rick are conscientious and friendly; we would most definitely hire them again.
