I thought this was a great company to deal with. I was told the day of installation ANY problems in the future they would return well that was not the case. My unit has completely went out and I called to ask if they could come out to service my unit. I was told the wouldn’t be able to get out due to storm. Then I was told I was too far out, then I was told it was Covid. So many excuses and I kindly told them why would you take on the job and it was Covid when the unit was installed. Now the weather is changing and no one wants to touch a unit another company has installed. I thought I could recommend this company but most definitely not if you all will not come back to service.

We were set to have Carlo Garay, who owns C & J Heating, install our heat pump. The night before, my husband emailed just to double check with him that he had pulled the permit for it. Carlo freaked out, accused us of "questioning his integrity" and despite multiple apologetic emails and phone calls from us for whatever we did to offend him, backed out the morning he was supposed to install it. I literally called and begged him to install it since it is cold out, we are eight months pregnant, and family is coming for the holidays, but no response. When I spoke to his office manager, she told me Carlo had our heat pump but was out on another job (the same morning he had scheduled to be with us). I guess just one heat pump for expectant parents in our little house wasn't worth as much as whatever else he had also scheduled for that morning. Extremely unprofessional behavior and also pretty sad from a basic human decency perspective too.
