**Eating $500 Dollars for a Defective Door** My wife and I ordered a door from American Supply & Air Products online from Fayetteville, NC. The door arrived undamaged and was installed by the company who did the siding and windows on our house. The installers did great, problem was that the door was defective. The frame would not allow the door to shut correctly. The door had to be slammed to shut then was too tight to open. Everything was plumb and square, but the door was defective. American Supply & Air Products refused to take it back or make it right, because the door had been installed. This was the only way to know the door was defective. Now my wife and I have to eat a $350 dollar door and $164 in shipping for a door that will not work. My advice to a fellow consumer is to find someone else who is more honest to buy your building materials from.

Been jerked around over a month Over shipping paid over 400 dollars to ship but now they want me to make 500 mile round trip to pick up. ( NOT ) now have to wait a month too get my money back

I ordered a bath tub and surround from this company. The only carrier I was able to use was R&L Carrier per American's policy. I paid $200. to have this shipped to me in Texas. It arrived damaged due to the carrier but neither the carrier or American Supply want to take responsibility for the damage. Both continue to pass the buck of responsibility. If a company only offers one carrier to deliver their product they should have complete faith in that carrier to protect their customers purchase. I have a surround that can not be used or returned which was $197. and shipping for $200. I sent pictures to Heather showing her the damage the day of delivery and she basically stated there is nothing she can do. Very convenient for both companies to not accept responsibility for the care of the merchandise I purchased. I am now out $397. with no surround to go with my tub. I will never use either of these companies again and suggest no one else does if they do not want to be ripped of
