Hired B and B Roofing fall of 2022, contract signed for CertainTeed shingles. Mr Black applied GAF shingles. The way I found out …I asked for left over shingles which he said were on the bottom of trash truck, he would deliver left over when he cleaned out truck. Why shingles for job on bottom of trash, don’t u need them? When he finally delivered left over, they were GAF shingle’s, matched new roof. He admitted “ mistake.” Offered to tear off new roof and replace with CertainTeed. I did not want to mess with the integrity of roof, again! There were busted pieces of plywood from the new roof. ( which can happen) He offered monetary compensation, I felt was not adequate. I asked for an amount I thought was fair. He agreed but dragged out over months and months , excuses and excuses ,the return of partial payment until I finally decreased the amount to what HE first offered. The last part of payment he returned after I wrote the BBB. He also said he had to replace many pieces of plywood

I called 5 roofing companies but selected B & B Roofing, Inc (local and family owned). I called B & B Roofing and Mr. Black called back. We made an appointment, came out and reviewed my roof, give me an estimate/quote along with a booklet of samples. Once I decided to go with B & B Roofing, Mr. Black came back to discuss the details and how long it would take to do the job. We contacted B&B roofing Inc., this small family business, when we saw that two shingles had come loose from our 14 year old roof, and that there was an unusually large amount of shingle grouting on our gutter. They were warm and welcoming when I called, and they showed up promptly on a 90+ degree F afternoon to perform the roof inspection. They showed us the results of their inspection, and the repairs that they would perform. After we accepted their quote for the repairs, they came out as soon as they could, and performed them. We were very satisfied with their service, and would highly recommend them.
