Nichols Plumbing & Piping

I have to share my experience with Nichols Plumbing because of all the negative reviews that I have read. Nichols was dispatched by my home warranty company. Patrick came an hour early. Diagnosed the problem and explained my options. My warranty company denied the claim due to the location of the leak. Patrick quoted a price that was less than other plumber in Fayetteville by 33%. The only delay to Nichol's repair was due to No Cuts and the utilities who report to them. As soon as the utilities were marked, Patrick and his son came out and replaced the line. I could not have asked for a better job. My theory about the negative reviews is that the company does some work for home warranty companies and is swamped by calls. I would suggest to improve public relations, they add someone to answer the phone and placate customers.

I also had the unfortunate experience of being referred to them by my home warranty company to fix a broken/leaking garbage disposal. They never called to schedule an appointment. At this time I have called over 10 times, and left 3 messages with my home, work, and cell numbers. I never got a call back, and nobody ever answered the phone. After looking them up online and reading the reviews, I decided to ask to be assigned to another vendor. When I called my home warranty company, they informed me that the work order was "COMPLETED" by the vendor. This place is so unprofessional. Thankfully I have been re-assigned to a new company and will never ever attempt to give them my money again.

The home warranty company we have assigned us this plumber we had no water starting on a Sat. the warranty company put it in as an emergency work order they where suppose to call us within 8 hrs they never called and when I called them got no answer so called their emergency number which I had to look up on line only to get voice mail and then the box was full. Had to call the warranty company again and they answered the companies call and told them they would be there first thing in the morning on Monday. how is that emergency service but we had no choice so went with that . They didn't show up so tried to call and got their voice mail left a message and they never called me back so I called back and finally got thru. The woman I talked took my info to look up the work order and said they just got it (which wasn't true) and that it was not an emergency order (also not true) that they couldn't come until between 3 and 5 that afternoon.
