Worst experience ever. Lack of care for customer service, tech arrived and refused to work saying he would just stay in our yard so he wouldn’t get another call. This was after postponing an additional hour past the original scheduled show up time, due to mass of people with same issue per their caller. Ac is 2 years old, under warranty. Labor to install an inside thermostat that was Supposably the issue over $300 in service visit and labor. The thermostat we got installed to relaxed the one we first got was down graded. $110 to show up to house alone. House still wasn’t cooling and husband demonstrated vents were not blowing, and tech refused to check the ducts they cut when first installing, until after calling back the main company. After he left the main duct was magically no longer connected and my husband who has had back surgery has to reconnect it. Nothing like the stated reviews above. This company saved me $7,000. I had two service technicians come out from my home warranty company and they both claimed that my system had a “catastrophic failure” and needed to be replaced for $7,000. When I called Jacksonville Heating Contractors, they sent out a technician in less than 24 hours and they fixed the problem for $115 total. As a first time homeowner, I’ve experienced a good amount of companies that come out and try to screw me over, probably thinking I’m an easy target because I’m in my late 20s and new to home ownership. Jacksonville Heating Contractors sent out Jeff Owens and he was a straightforward, no-BS, friendly guy who diagnosed the problem and got it fixed on the same day. I really appreciate this company for looking out for me and not giving me the round around trying to upsell me on stuff I don’t need. Jeff Owens saved me seven grand and I couldn’t be thankful enough, if you need a great technician then I highly recommend asking for him specifically!

Michael was outstanding, great communication , great knowledge and he checked and rechecked everything. Made sure we understood everything he was doing. 5 stars is not enough for him and his company.
