Jays Roofing

In 2012 we had hail damage on the roofs of two homes and an outbuilding. A local builder I trust recommended Jays roofing and I asked them for a quote. Jay came out to assess the work and gave me a competitive estimate. I was impressed by Jay and gave them the job. They did the work on schedule. There were a few items that needed correction and they took care of them expeditiously. I later experienced a leak in a porch roof on one home and they sent a crew out to do additional sealing. When the leak recurred 10 years later, they sent their estimator Chris out assess the problem. I showed him where water was coming in under the ridge vent and he said he’d recommend that they replace the vent. He talked to the boss, Jeff, and they agreed to replace the roof vent at no charge. I worked with Sherry to schedule the repair and Sylvester came out to replace the ridge vent. That solved the problem. I was very impressed that they stood behind their work after 10 years. Agree with William. Had an appointment for an estimate scheduled for today - no show - no call. Rearranged my appointments to be available today - no call. They said they would call in the morning to schedule a time so you have to leave your entire day open. Not great for those who actually work; lost an entire day. If Jays is too busy and can't make it, just call and say so. Responding to the reply: I was at my home all day with phone on hip. I did not get a call and no one came by my home. If you are sending someone to look at my roof - give me a call! ...or come by. Please give me a time - as that is what I thought you were going to do when I spoke to your representative earlier this week. Update: While I did not meet with a representative from Jay's roofing, they did prepare and send me an estimate. I’d like to share my experience in regards to Jays roofing which was opposite of William’s review (from 3 days ago). They just came today to give us a metal roofing quote. They were supposed to come yesterday and when I called to confirm the appointment they notified me that the weather has put them behind, and promptly got me scheduled for this morning. We were very impressed with their knowledge and expertise and spent considerable amount of time discussing the type of product unlike other professionals who have come to us in a rush and knew little about their products. We have not decided on using them yet for our project but so far we are very impressed by them. Service: Roof inspection
